School Group Accommodation
Makahika’s Lodge has 46 bunks set up in six rooms. Though basic, it is clean and comfortable. On-site, we are able set up a ‘tented city’ to add another dimension to your stay in camp, and our Bush Hut location has 8 alpine tents set up on permanent tent sites (with mattresses to ensure a great night’s sleep) that can accommodate up to 40 children. Parents and teachers sleep in the bush hut.
Large groups often rotate through the accommodation locations during their stay, with each group having an evening in the bush, one in on-site tents and the other in the cabins.
